Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Algoritmia mobile app ("the App"), developed by Syntropy Techs ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on mobile devices you control, solely for personal, educational, or non-commercial professional purposes. You may not:

• Redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent allowed by applicable law.
• Remove or modify intellectual-property or trademark notices included in the App.
• Use the App for illegal activities or in ways that infringe third-party rights.

2. Your content

The algorithms, diagrams, and pseudocode you create with the App are your property. Syntropy Techs claims no rights over them. Because all information is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up your files and for any sharing decisions you make.

3. Intellectual property

The App, its code, graphics, trademarks, icon, color palette, and visual identity are the property of Syntropy Techs and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms transfer none of those rights to you beyond the limited license described in section 1.

4. Distribution

The App is distributed through the App Store (Apple Inc.) and Google Play (Google LLC). Access to the App is also subject to each store's terms, in addition to these Terms.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we offer no warranty, express or implied, regarding operation, fitness for a particular purpose, continuous availability, accuracy of results, or absence of errors.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Syntropy Techs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes to the App and to these Terms

We may modify the App, its features, or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication at this URL. Continued use of the App after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, without liability to you.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any dispute that is not resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights that cannot be waived under the applicable law of your place of residence.
